Massachusetts Department of Education Frameworks   The program is aligned with Massachusetts Department of Education Standards for 7th grade in Social Studies, Language Arts and the Arts.            Language Arts     8 (Understanding a Text), 11 (Theme), 12 (Fiction), 14 (Poetry), 15 (Style and Language), 16 (Myth Traditional, Narrative, and Classical Literature), 17 (Dramatic Literature).   10 (Genre).A multi-genre writing project supports learning standard:  4-4.21(Vocabulary and Concept Development), 5-5.22 (Structure and Origins of Modern English)  9- 9.5 Making Connections.
